My wife and I have an announcement to make.
There is good news at the end of this, I promise.
After the difficulties of Covid-19, It is with a heavy heart that Emanuela and I have decided to call it a day. We have done everything we could to keep our restaurant open, but now we have arrived at a point where we can no longer financially keep our doors open beyond the 31st October 21.
The other side is that as parents, Marco and Maya who are 2 and 4 would like to have us around more. After spending time during a recent break with them, you realise that time is precious and we don’t want to miss them growing up.
The Good News…
For those of you who have dined with us the last couple of years, you would have met Stefano. Stefano has been a fantastic member of the team who is dedicated in what he knows best which is looking after our customers. Stefano has always wanted a restaurant of his own and we are pleased to announce that Stefano will be taking over and starting his own chapter with the launch of his restaurant on the 3rd November named after his beloved town of Alghero in Sardinia.
Alghero will operate as a traditional Italian restaurant continuing to offer traditional Italian cuisine for you all to enjoy. Emanuela and I hope you can support Stefano as you have all supported us, in making his dream come true.
I personally would like to thank my wife for all the hard work she has put into the restaurant over the last 8 years. Emanuela has always given 100% in the kitchen cooking with passion to give you, our customers and friends the true taste of Italy. Naming the restaurant after her in December 2020 is something I will always be proud of as it gave her the energy to continue through the pandemic and above all, I got to see her amazing smile.
Emanuela and I will be focusing on our mobile pizza truck Pizza Addicts which we have been thoroughly enjoying. Our Social Media pages will merge with our Pizza Brand and I will place details for Stefano’s detail on our social media pages in the next few days for you to follow and to support him during his first venture.
Emanuela and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody that has supported us during the last 8 years:
And everybody else who has been there for us.
Grazie Mille con cuore
Piero & Emanuela
Bianco Nero was established in 2013 at its original location on Bridge Avenue, Maidenhead.
Bianco Nero now Emanuela's, dedicated to my wife Emanuela for all her hard work in the kitchen continues to offer traditional authentic Italian cuisine.
Covid-19 brought its challenges and instigated the move from a Restaurant to being a Trattoria offering more of the home cooked variety of cuisine. From traditional Italian wine glasses to the classic red and white tablecloths and surrounded by Italian influences in and around the dining area, Emanuela's offers the real taste of Southern Italy.
